about

of course SOS was just a fun ass song to play live, in fact it is the one song on the record where everything you hear on that track was cut straight up live. usually we would all play live together in the studio but i would go back and like do overdubs on guitar and better vocals so everything would be perfect. SOS was just too weird and really needed that feel so thats why at the end you hear me say, "i think we did it", meaning i think we got the take finally. why i said it in that odd voice, i have no idea.
oh, i must add- the chorus , "i can't tell you, it would break your heart, the pain that broke mine." well i wrote that as a poem, before i wrote "lyrics" when i was like 18, maybe 19? later i realized that it was way cooler if you put poems to music and called them songs.

The chemistry of the three is intoxicating.
The future is now!
